I think Michelin was totally at fault here, but I think that everybody involved did the correct thing. I am still watching the race and it is just about the same as watching when Michael was on top. Michelin had the data and has no excuses for their error. Also, lets not minimize whoever wins this race. They did the job and did not cause the problem for the other teams...........

hmmmm. Nobody wanted to change things for Bridgestone in the throws of their problems. Yep, Michelin put a solid black eye on F1. Wonder what the posture for an 06 US GP will be?

    Default C-6R..2 mich.tire blow outs??

    Thomas...Who?
Yall folks from Calf. crack me up!
    But I still love ya.
Never owned a forigen car (except a Reynard) and never owned Mich tires... for this very reason:wink:
Ok I would buy a Ferrari. But I would not trade my Vette for it. See what they did at LeMans dispite changing from GY to Mich.??
But hey the C-6R did have not one but 2 (two) tire BLOW-OUTS. HMMMM.
So they still won dispite the Mich. tires.

You nailed it! If Bridgestone had had the same problem and had their 6 drivers bow out, nobody would have b%^&ed about it at all. For FIA to have changed anything for the race would have been to ignore the fact that 3 teams came fully prepared to run the race at the track that they all had tested for. It's not like this was their first time there. [Although, it is true that they had resurfaced....and Firestone had tested there....and Firestone is owned by Bridgestone....]

I'm betting that there won't be a 2006 USGP. I can point to about 143,000 fans that probably won't be returning....
