I thought it was pretty cool, too (and posted about it here a few weeks ago :-). However, in trying to get details and reading the literature, it may not be quite as cool as I originally thought. There are several references to "if your organization has such and such version of the software". Maybe not a big deal, but something to think about. Heck, most of our regions' folks are too busy (I assume) to upload and post race results, so it wouldn't surprise me to find out they aren't using the latest versions. Also, it did not look like you could get a gap to the car behind, only to the car ahead. One of the large displays shows "track time". Who would care about that? Maybe to see how accurate the 5 minute warning is?
At $500, I'd be more inclined to spend a little more on an AIM system and get data that can be analyzed.
