Were you looking for the final results, the revised final results or the real results?

Might you have the results of Saturday's race as well? I've seen conflicting articles that say this may or may not have been considered part of the "2nd annual" thing-either way, I wish to include a bit about that race in a report I'm doing for an overseas website.

    Thanks.

    Hello Magical Trevor,
Gotta wonder about that screen name...
Yes, I have both qualifying and race results from the FF race on Saturday May 28. I do not , however, have them in emailable form. They are most likely posted on the NESCCA.Com site. If all else fails, I can fax them to you on Monday-- I am one foot out the door to California on business until then--

    The raw results are
1st OA, 1st FF Steve Maxwell
    2nd OA,1st NCF Glenn Taylor
    3rdOA, 2nd FF Davey D'Addario
    4thOA, 3rdFF Ed Callo
    5thOA, 2nd NCF Rod Kendall
    6thOA 4th FF Doug Hobby
    7thOA,5th FF Jim Quaile
    8thOA,3rd NCF J D King
    9thOA,4th NCF Rob Weiner
    10thOA,5th NCF Peter Klein
    etc
    etc
    20 starters total, 8 FF, 12 NCF

Thanks for the quick reply Mike.
The name is from an internet cartoon and since my previous name on racing forums/etc. was "RacerGuy2"-nice and obvious-I decided it needed a change. My real name is Trevor anyway so it works out.
What happened Saturday by the way? I saw that you were in it for the first lap or so but then had a failure? (I really should have paid more attention to that race :S )
No need to fax though, I just wanted some basics like those that you provided.

    MT,
I ran 12-13 laps and switched off with ugly noises, subsequently confirmed as a spun number 4 rod bearing. Crank being turned and rod reconditioned. Should be back soon.
Why don't you stop by sometime in the paddock ? Maxwell, Taylor, Prout when he gets his RF81 out soon, Kawash, Pocock, we allpark together.
The last lap accident I caused involved Bill Goldkind only. Just my stupid self and him. Bill is ok though, much to my relief.

Hi Russ, Yes it's me. Mike Rand coaxed me back by making me an offer I couldn't refuse. I bought his "backup" Crossle 30F that he and Ian Prout drove last year.

I'm glad he did, 'cause I feel ten years younger after getting back behind the wheel. (it had been 11 years)

By the way, the AeroDYN Wind Tunnel is based in Mooresville and we're building a second tunnel, A2 Wind Tunnel, next door aimed at less well funded teams than the NASCAR clientelle we have at AeroDYN. Visit www.a2wt.com for more info.

see you soon at one of the Southern tracks.

    Mike

Oh, right-I didn't know it was you there, thought Jonh was listed in the 63 (as he was listed) and wasn't aware of you switching to another car-wither way, good to see all are alright
I would have stopped by in the paddock but the track security have quite frankly been d**ks as far as bikes (which I always travel with at the track) are concerned lately.
Plus I tend to get shy when it comes to interviews and the like-with tight schedules like the one last weekend I don't like to interrupt .

    MT,
Now I am confused. On Monday John Merriman ran a few laps in red #63 Citation. The borrowed replacement for my Crossle was blue #1, a Royale RP31.
I ran my red #37 Crossle on Saturday when I had the motor problem.
Yes, the track security guys are being Nazi's, but it is on orders from the top. Sound familiar ? Complain to Steve Potter, stevepotter@limerock.com. Good luck.

Err, yeah, that's what I was thinking-didn't come out right however as I was, uh, tired :P
And contacting Mr. Potter is just what I intended on doing-I typed up a letter on Saturday just after I arrived and have sent it today, in fact
I hope they take it into consideration
