    Default Pointless Distributor Question

I purchased a 78 Fiesta block last year and used some parts off of it to finish my original motor. The Fiesta block has a pointless distributor with the vacuum advance part of the casting. It has a tall blue cap.

I assume I can use it since there are no restrictions on distributors. But, Is it a wise decision?

Is there an advantage over points? Does anyone else use one of these?

    Thanks

I think that distributor would require the use of the "Duraspark" ignition box. I don't know the box very well, but I think it does determine the timing, which would make it illegal for FF.
