    What is the status of a 711M block running in
    a pre 70's Vintage F/F (Is it legal) also
    any chage in the accepted wheels for 2003

    Most of the clubs run under the 1972 GCR (or Monoposto rules, which are based on the '72 GCR), and in 1972 you could run either an Uprated or Cortina configuration, regardless of the chassis manufacture year. I suppose thatif you want an absolutely faithful restoration, you'd want a Cortina config, 2737 block and DFM Weber in a pre-'71 car. Wheel rules vary from club to club; even some of the groups that have adopted the MR rules take exception to the steel wheels.
