    For Sale 84 Citation FF

    Found while browsing:

    Chris More's 84 Citation FF

Long time readers will recognize the owner/car. Starting in 2001, the trial and tribulations of the rebuild of this car played out on the ApexSpeed forums. The high attention to detail of resulting rebuild is very evident (great work Chris!).

With an initial asking price of $15,000, I would say this a great deal for someone looking to join FF. Fresh frame-up that includes fresh, zero-time Justice w new pistons and aluminum head...Spares / etc.

More details / photo's via the link...

    Default I'm still alive!

Chris: Thanks for posting a link - I was just about to do it myself.

Everyone else: I'm still alive and involved with racing. I got married and had a kid in 2006, but I lucked out and met a girl who is completely into racing now. I bought a 2005 Lotus Elise and have been autocrossing it since. My wife and I are so involved and dedicated to the Lotus I don't have time to drive both cars. I'm planning on going to solo nationals next year in the Lotus and the Formula Ford needs to get in the hands of someone who has the time to drive it.

it was a labor of love to build the car and as you mentioned I am very particular when it comes to details. During the build of the car I developed great relationships with all of the people on the FF forum and learned so much. If it wasn't for the build I wouldn't have become a data engineer for professional race teams. I owe so much to all of you for all the help and advice over the years.

The car and myself are still just as passionate about racing and I would love to see someone with that same passion buy and race the Formula Ford.

I'll also include a CD of the pre-build pictures and all the steps along the way.

    Thanks everyone!

I would prefer to sell the trailer together with the Formula Ford, but will set it separately.

Congratulations and condolences Chris. I know how much you liked that car. Hopefully the buyer will have it on the track many times in 2010.
