Gary's right. I wore one in the top fuel car. They work. Congrats on the car build. Most people wont stick with it that long. Very well done.
Jerry
This didn't go out to all people with cars. Maybe I missed it or something. Very possible but I just wanted you to know that not everyone saw this until now.
Jerry
It was definitely stalled due to a lack of overtime money. Ran the Talladega TT to see what falls off. Roebling Road in February and as many as money allows after that.
Jerry
ps: Don't know...
I have done that several times with drag teams. Usually it's $200/day and expenses.
Jerry
In 10+ years of buying stuff off apexspeed he's the only person I ever had and issue with.
Jerry
We’re going to try to do that by awarding more drivers than the classic awards to the top three finishers”.
I've always thought that was the way to get more mid-pack racers to attend any...
Should be +2.
Jerry Freeman. Alabama. Will be ready sometime in 2013.
Luis Cancio. Illinois
It was right beside the forum tab at the top right of the homepage. Now it's not there anymore. Didn't take long to remove that info.

Was looking at the F1000champ site and Jon can't pay his prize money but now all of a sudden he has a world challenge and grad-am team getting ready for next year. Simply amazing.
Jerry
Good looking car Dustin. Wish I had the money for one of those hot rods.
Thanks for all your help with parts and knowledge. My new car is going to look good with you side pods. Not as good as...
Jon, I know exactly what I am and where I stand in the small formula car world but if you want more wankers like me to show up and pay the bill you might want to change your wording a little bit.
...
I have been thinking the same thing. Nothing but good things to say from everyone and Jon seems to have fallen of the earth. Did the checks bounce?:o
Jerry
Thanks Rob, Gary, and Mike. I have 3 sets of Ti stock headers I was going to make a set out of. Problem is getting a small amount of welding rods (welding is not a problem). I've built alot of...
Everytime I do something in the formula car world I realize how different it is from where I came from. Please forgive my stupidity. I'll keep trying to change my mindset. Thanks for your help...
What is that?
Why not use mild steel like the rest of the world, hedman, hooker, every sbc, etc?
Jerry
I've been shopping around for a header (tired of building things) and was wondering why Stohr and Firman use stainless steel? Seems to me that there is a lighter cheaper way to go.
Jerry
Fixin to mount the throttle cable and was wondering if a linear cable or a progrressive cable was better.
Jerry
[quote=JJLudemann;344420]Wow, thanks! My inspiration is Jerry Freeman. Go, Jerry!
I've been called alot of things but an "inspiration" is a first. Hopefully in the near future I'll have something...
Chris, I'm not positive but I think that's the same diffuser he built for Brandon.
Jerry
I run 16 and 46 at Road Atlanta and that would give me 12,000 at the end of the back strech. That's the fastest track I run. Could use the 15 at Nashville or Barber but I don't change gears because...
The ones I get are steel. Part#27

On edit. I'll check at...
Gary,
I get stock ones and weld on my arms. If you print the page with the part # and price on it most local dealers will match the price. I think they are $30. Go to Suzukipartsonline.com.
...
I think everyone with a national license got one.
Jerry
Send it to George Dean. Mines there right now. Well worth the money for the piece of mind and customer support.
Jerry
Just bustin your chops Glen. Alot better one-offs out there than I will ever build. Peace and love my man.
Jerry
damn Glen. I know I don't count for much but I believe I am the only guy to build and race an FB car that wasn't built with a multi-million dollar machine shop(Hickman).
Jerry
Did you mean that you don't have to run an oil cooler?
Jerry
Masters. B Dixon and G Cooper are both 40+. Sorry guys. If they win the young championship don't they also win the masters championship? I put my money on either one before some rich kid any day....
Rick is exactly right. This would help most of the cars and only hurt a very few.
I don't care either way. I'm just racing for the fun of it. That doesn't mean I'm not serious, just realistic...
George,
Is the Suzuki data from the old dyno or the new one? I would think that you would want to compare the engines on the same dyno.
Jerry
I let the world see my turd that I will polish for the next few years. We want to see some pictures.:D
Jerry
Thanks Steve. One day I would really like to talk to you in person.
Jerry
Steve,
I read where you said that in another post a little while back but I had already made what you see now. I completely agree with you. I destructively tested the design I have now at Barber...
JP, that and a couple dollars will get you a bad cup of coffee. Or broke and miserable. I obviously don't like coffee.;)
Jerry
Had a few people ask about the car so I thought I would try to post some pics of the SLOW progress. Thought I would be alot farther along by now. Typical story, got time and no money or got money and...
Didn't mean to imply that the ball checks worked exactly like the doors. Just the same principle. I want the more expensive option all the time. Just not possible for me.
Jerry
Well, here's the custom fuel bladder that Fuel Safe is building. It will use one external pump and has the collector box inside with ball checks. The ball checks work just like the flaps but are $200...
I can hold the RPM's at a steady 7000 with my right foot and do the same thing. Alcohol Funny Car! It's just easier to concintrate on the lights with a rev limiter. SAFER!
When you...
It's rev control. It can be done easily as Ben described. I was just wondering if there was a rev limiter for weight saving purposes. The mechanical way is better for the engine.
Jerry
Anyone know of a stand alone rev limiter for the Suzuki motors? So you can leave like a Pro Stock car with the revs at say 7000 and then go wide open when the clutch is let out.
Jerry
Herman,
They didn't want the pickup at the bottom because they were afraid that it would get knocked off easier in an accident. They will put it in the bottom if you request that. The older 93 VD...
I've been a little disconnected since friday. I sent my drawings to ATL and Fuelsafe for a quote. I talked to both companies about the (black box, collector) whatever you want to call it. They both...
The picture is to scale. It is a 6" x 10" plate that ATL has. The picture is the way it sits in the car. (flat bottom). I have been looking at the black boxes and thought that would be the best way....
This is what my tank will look like. Everything goes in through the back access plate. It's 10.5" wide at the bottom.
Jerry
I was thinking about having an extension on the outlet fitting that would go to the middle of the tank to help with the surge problem. Not sure yet. My tank will have the access plate in the back so...
Rick
The JF1 used a small faucet pump that fead an external tank with a stock Suzuki pump in it. Some of the guys in the southeast use that type system. It worked great but the new car doesn't...
Anyone using or have any info on an external electric fuel pump like the Mallory 5110FI or Mallory 4193FI? Trying to get away from the intank pumps or having the extra tank with the motorcycle pump...
He inquired about buying my FB car but said he could build a new car for what I wanted used. I don't think he was ever serious about FB.
