Ah, you went from Team Hesketh to Team Gulf!
Ouch! I am so sorry for everyone's losses. I am also fond of AMX's. They are getting harder to find. I feel bad about all the cars and tools lost, but especially that.
No hijack intended, but is there such a thing as "beer wine pudding" or are some commas missing?
With a Dulon front and a Tiga rear it would have to be called a "Duga". If it was a Tiga front and Dulon rear, then you could call it a "Tilon". ;)
I apologize for the hijack
Mike Rand in a USF4, supported by Momentum? :greenflag:
It was a very serious crash.

Fortunately there was a generous...
Hopefully someone getting into F4 is not naive and is aware that the engines are leased.
With this discussion going on, the engine lease program will show up in a Google search.
Do you sign lease...
I would guess that there is an interesting story behind that photo...
"Ohh what a beautiful waste of 150 hours of labor."
You will be hard-pressed to find anyone to agree with that statement on this website.
Beautiful! Job well done. Have fun on track!
May I add a follow up to your thread?
Assuming that one had the cash and desire to purchase Senna's Toleman, would you drive it at vintage events or park it in a museum?
The article is written in a some unclear fashion (intentionally?)...
Do they have more drivers than cars ready or do they not have the minimum 12 car field?
Are there cars ordered but not yet...
Yikes!!!!
The commentators are priceless.
Then there is the guy who usually connects the crane the the roll bar, looking perplexed.
"let's end the season with a bang"
I tried that line on my wife on the last day of summer... :(
I guess the one who runs the site is allowed to be a wise guy...
Assuming an official announcement would include driver names and perhaps a little biographical information.
;)
Who needs a shiny new F350 or Toterhome when a well-maintained C30 van will run forever?
"This motor you leased me is not working. May I please have a replacement?"
That might work... :D
Honestly asking, not trying to be snarky: What happens to the 14 Mygales that were sold in order to race in the (now canceled) FRP series?
Does he really need any more points? Hasn't he grabbed most of them already? ;);) :D :checkered: :trophy:
Wow! That was fast!
"Resulting in a total return of $67,080.00." - Is he operating out of Colorado or Washington?
Monty!
Not to knock the current staff at FRP, but when Mike Rand was creating the schedule, FRP got the "Cool Gigs": Indycar, American LeMans/IMSA. Dan has aligned himself with Indycar, so that is out, but...
That sounds like a Neil Young or Bob Dylan song...
I've seen a FV towed, on a small, very light trailer, by either a Jetta or Passat wagon. Cool to see the total VW theme carried out.
That is a beautiful car, Mike! I hope I get to see it in person soon.
Thanks for sharing your photos Robert!
So Lawrence, one National Championship was not enough?
Congratulations on the HP win as well!
That was quite a race! Congratulations to Lawrence, Lucian & Brandon! :checkered:

Sheep on track + car fires. I see a missed opportunity for lamb kabobs. :D
I do not think that is a tow dolly. I think it is a tandem rear axle on the toter home.
^ My first thought as well! ;)
"piston return springs FORCE the pistons back into the motor, no longer relying on gravity!"
Love it! :D
Mike, you better check Finelli's engine to make sure he did not install these for the...
Ha! That's where my brain went, too. Apparently I have a little more self-control. ;)
"The Nutcracker", if your anti-submarine belts aren't tight enough.
Badges? We doan need no stinkin badges!
oops, I didn't look further down the thread before I posted. Please forgive me for barging in and misquoting.
Interesting how the thread went from North...
Gotta love the narrator telling the driver how to drive around the 22 min mark. Is that where Steve Matchett learned how to commentate? ;)
Which? That he's a slut who's been pregnant 9 times or that he's building an FB? ;)
