Send it to me in Indy if you don't find anyone close to you,
We would be a good show in 2017! :checkered:
I am putting my Wasp up for rent for this event. Spent 16 years there got plenty of laps in .
Time to let someone else drive Indy. Contact me at dunlaprace@att.net
Looks like you are right. Too bad the 1st cars would put on o nice show. The vintage event
is an option. Larry Campbell has that info.:(
I have a Formula Vee sitting in my trailer. I'll run it if I have to. We don't want to run with the Vees or take up any time from the Vee class . In fact we would fit in better with the
Sports racer...
I desperately want to run the Indianapolis Runoffs in my F1st. Is anyone else interested
in petitioning the SCCA to make a slot for our group? I believe we can field 20 cars at least.
Say we supply...
Larry, Wife's birthday is the 18th so It's not a good idea for me to make any racing plans
around her day! I have a couple cars to finish then will see what's left!:checkered:
Probably will run the July race at Mid Ohio. I have my Nats. and want to avoid the waiver
deal to keep them. Are the 1st races counted as regionals towards requirements? Spine surgery is 10 mos....
Overtaking and passing is good racing no matter what you are driving. Good practice for when you are working for the win. Bring it on!:checkered:
Has anyone given thought to asking for a FST class at Indy. I know we are Regional
only but I would hate to miss that race. :checkered:
Just recieved the dyno results from Chris Cox (Noble Engines)f or a solo car that I am doing for Larry Metz. It produced 122 hp with 1 two bbl carb. Very inexpensive for
the results obtained.
I am building a Solo car for Larry Metz right now. I am using a Wasp with updates to
accomodate a 120 plus hp Volks engine. The engine is a Veetech with The Weber
carb and uprates allowed in the...
Jeramy: You need to have about 41/2 quarts capacity to feed the dry sump system.
make a 4quart mock up out of construction paper and work it in the space you have
available. Cut the mock up in...
I'm for keeping the name as is. I think it's a clear separation of the class and the rules for F1st have been carefully written to make the 1st the leader in bold and better ideas.
If the Fv class...
Thanks guys. Sure bring me what you have and I can make an ashtray out of it! I will
be at the track when needed. Sorry I couldn't make Mid Ohio last year Bob. You can have the car when you need it....
Just a note about my participation this summer. The SCCA Doc. has turned down my
physical so I won't be in the car. I may rent it out or bring up a new driver from my
Indy car buddy. I will be...
I agree with Rave Motorsports line of thinking. A FV guy is not going to change and the F1st guy is convinced that the class is the right way to go. Therefore new racers are
the target. I like both...
Sorry guys that I didn't get to Grattan as planned. We entered ,paid our $, made hotel
reservations and was looking forward to seeing the F1st family. Then the air conditioning system went down at...
Thanks for your comments guys. I whittled on the buck for a couple of years before I pulled the molds. I am currently changing the air intake to add a little pressure. The F1st class allows so much...
Hi Larry!
Looking forward to picking it up again! Those were the best of times for sure.

Thanks Guys! See you at the track.

Hey Brian:
There isn't a fan shroud rule in F1st. The Body work will comply with the FV shroud rule if you are building a VEE
with room to spare. The FV that is running nationals (Landon) Has a...
The Wasp f1st is alive and we will run the 2013 events. Many updates and bodywork
are completed and in the paint shop. The SCCA put me thru the mill on my health and
called me good to go. So I am...
Greg:
I am interested in the job. I have experience with both of those classes and am available.
Thanks

The Indy Region has a monthly publication caled Clutch Chatter. What type of info do you want published? I'm sure they would welcome news on the F1st program. I would be glad to help as a go between...
Thanks guys! I am looking forward to joining the 1st family next season. I appreciate
your comments!
