  1. Here is my setup for my rearview camera.

Works really well. I can see "way" behind me and works well, even in bright sunlight. Luckily I had enough room in my car to make it a nice set up.
  2. Wantto install a rear view camera in my Norma

I am not after a video recording system. I want a camera that shows the rear view from my car. So basically an electronic rear view mirror. So no recording of image. I have real troubles seeing...

    Osella CN Car

You should be fine with carbon bodywork. Lots of P2 cars (Stohrs, etc) run carbon bodywork.

As your car is an FIA CN class car, that ran (runs) in...

    Not sure legal

The SCCA recently altered the rules for P2 cars. They no longer allow for cars that have carbon fiber skins on the chassis. But you may get in as a spec line car. I would check with the SCCA about...

    New Stohr P2 car.

Just wondering how much people have seen/heard about this.

Stan and Rennie did a nice webcast describing their current efforts, on shop build and new Stohr P2 car.

    The big "reveal" was the...

    Restrictors

Where Sonic restrictors ever used or discussed as a way to cut power on these cars.? (Or the awful but simple flat plate restrictor?)

Would that not be a way (not always the best-I admit) to keep...

    Common ECU

Can be done but requires a bit of time on the dyno with any and all engines, even if a common ECU. Nothing big deal here but who pays for it all?

    NP01 in SCCA

There is no fundamental legal issue in getting the NP01 into SCCA P2.

Basically the engine dyno curve needs to be submitted to SCCA, along with car weight, so that the SCCA can work out a proper...

    Where to race it?

As Steve, Jay and others know the problem is, as always, one of the chicken and egg.

    Current future status of F1000

    Hey guys,

Just would like a general understanding of the current status of F1000:

    1.) Rules
2.) SCCA class and "vision" for cars
    3.) Non SCCA races (Southeast)

    Etc.

The concept you have is great but your cost estimates are probably off by 50-100%.

    Now you as an individual...
