What does the "V" in SVRA stand for again?

Its whoever is willing to pay the entry fee to whatever organization.
In my experience the one or two organizations that claim to be true vintage can go way the other way and get excited about...
I know many of you weren't even born then, but there was a great Enduro series one sponsored by Molyslip and the other by Alpine Breweries. One was a 3 hr event and the other a 4hr event - split...
If the cars are identical models, why not switch out with your brothers car and yours one upright complete with rotor and caliper. If you wanted to get fancy you could switch them one at a time.

What is the predicted cost for one of these cars? Is that known?

I think there was a thread on this car some time ago. If memory serves it was considered to look neat but with the Mazda motor too little power. Would it be as fast as a P2?.....I wonder.

Even though I don't have a dog in the hunt, there are many things to like about FB. Amazing noise, swoopy looks and they go like stink. Yes I know there are many prep shops out there who do not...
Well, after some fuel regulator issues which I eventually resolved and going down to Savannah for Ted and Wayne to fit a new Jennings dizzy and ignition system, the car sounded and ran like a Cossie...
Oops - I forgot to mention Pat Prince - who recently made a spare rear subframe (he has jigs) and a spare wing mount. Both beautiful pieces as you would expect.
I hope I haven't omitted anyone...
Thanks to everyone for your positive comments. I am going to try and answer the questions that have been asked. First off, let me acknowledge Simon Hadfield for a perfectly presented car. Even...
Thanks for all the great comments and pics etc. I am swamped at work for the next day or so, but I will get back to everyone with more info and answers to the questions.
Thanks again,

Brian, I used to run a Royale S2 many years ago (and 492 for that matter). With the Royale on tight tracks on a hot day the oil got hot - even with a cooler. I eventually had the tank modified...
What we were told at the announcement regarding Indy was that there would be no overtaking in the turns on the full oval - read "exhibition laps" as Peter referred to.
Presumably, the road...
PK has made a useful suggestion for CVAR to follow. Limit the S2s to 1986, keeping it truly vintage and avoid getting into the business of accomodating too many class types (including the latest and...
Maybe, just maybe, we will have the Chevron there....Not much to do to finish it now.

Ken is correct - there is an increasing number of newer cars in vintage. I'd say it started around 2007 or so, when it seemed like an attempt by organizers to accumulate entries. In S2 there are...
I know that SVRA and HSR require an engine certification form signed by the engine builder. Now that's not to say you couldn't modify things afterwards, but you risk the wrath of that engine builder...
Thanks for the feedback.
DanW - I did check back in December/January and it never listed an FA race. The latest discussion on this thread seemed to suggest that maybe there was such a race. ...
I have read the posts on this topic with interest. I was led to believe that Monterey was going to run an FA race only on alternate years. Since they had one last year, they were not going to have...
I'm on the east coast but I like to send my shocks to Chris Billngs at the Shock Shop - even though he is on the other side of the country.
