Here is some great footage by Tim Day showing Gary's duel for 1st in group.
At about 6 minutes, Gary is reeling in Jeff Shaefer and Tim Daly.
Full course yellow comes out at about 6:48.

Jeremy: We are still running the Suzuki. We may run the Kawasaki at Thunderhill. We have 2 cars to choose from now.
Best Regards,

At the ACS Majors Team Phoenix driver Gary Hickman lowered the long standing track record set by Phil De Lao from 1:37.132 to a new record of 1:36.284. Hickman went even...
Thunderhill Race Report 2015
The San Francisco region ran a tight show and Saturday's qualifying started promptly at 11:00am. The skies were clear and 70 degrees. The grid was fast!

Jay,
My apology for not making this clear. It would not be measurable on the dyno. I certainly agree with you on that. I have no trust for the SCCA being able to measure consistantly. Ask me...
Maybe it got zorched in the system. Long gone and spilled milk now. I think a lot of gripes posted so far concern the overall uncertainty for the class. The proposal has been around most of this year...
Yes, quite a while back.
Tony
I'll paraphrase JRO on an earlier question. What is too fast? I don't see any dramtic increase in speed or decrease in lap times over a 7 year period.
So, now let me ask another restrictor...
JR,
You hit the nail on the head. We can't help FA drivers that are slower than the car's potential stay faster than a well driven FB. I spend a lot of time at the track timing FB and FA cars....
Perfect example of this post potentially discouraging entry into FB.
Maybe some of you haven't seen this in your discussions.

Thank you John!
Anyone that has been to Road America with a F1000 care to share gearing? Also whether that was with a '05-06 or an '07-08 GSXR?
Replies or PMs would be much appreciated. Probably worth a beer...
3 of us made Thunderhill. How many will be at Buttonwillow in April? Edge Eng/Gary Hickman and Phoenix/Jaremko are a sure bet. Nick Woodman/GoPro is a strong maybe. Anyone else?

There were pics taken. I am waiting for the CD to arrive. Too many pics to email and probably too large to post on APEX without editing them. I'll post a few as soon as I can.

OK all you Northwest Formula B racers. Edge engineering will be hauling 597 plus miles each way. We expect a few more cars to play with on March 13-15th! I talked with Dustin Wright and Mark Jeremco....
I did get enough of the message to inform the stewards. They said they would watch him and probably :blackflag: him. Unfortunately, the flaggers didn't have the view Gary did and never flagged him....
We just got back. We have video of the full race. We had to settle for beating an Atlantic, a few CSR and DSRs, S2000s and FC. :checkered: No other FBs to play with :(
We went from a 1:24:06...
What, did I forget my grecian formula for men that day? :o
Calling all cars, calling all cars, double national points hiding out at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) on January 16-19th, 2009. All Formula Bs proceed inroute immediately and apprehend ASAP! ...
I second that! I am contacting various regions for National Race Schedules. Many aren't posted yet or incomplete. We will be attending as many double nationals as possible plus well the June Sprints...
Jerry Freeman did a ground up also. I am sure he can share that no matter how much you can do yourself, 10K just isn't possible. Look forward to seeing you at the3 ARRC Jerry!
Not to discourage...
You hit the nail on the head Russ! The lowest of those 2 bolts is an inch higher than the oil level window. That kept it from doing more than a drop or two in 10 minutes shop running. I found out...
I'm livid! Gary Hickman and I have spent a year designing and building a car for this class and a bucket load of money! If you count that we have our own machine shop and what we would have to have...
Jerry,
Sorry for the late reply. Your question about offering cars for sale is something we are considering. Gary and I have discussed this and it's something we may do in the near future. We...
Hi all,
Thought all you fellow FB owners and builders would like to see the progress we've made on our new chassis. This picture was taken this afternoon just prior to removing the 8 individual...
Thanks Kyle. We'll post our race schedule as soon as possible. We would love to do Portland. It might be tough doing 3 or 4 long hauls and run the shop too. :(
Best Regards and good night,

Here are the latest pictures of the car being built by Gary Hickman and Tony Moore. We haven't posted in a while because we have been very busy with the car and running our shop to pay for playing...
Thanks for continuing to bat for a reasonable rule. Good to hear it is under consideration.

Great driving and fantastic video Nick!  Can't wait for part III to post. Thanks again for the post.
Here is the link. Peter is a decent vender. Give him a try. Thanks to Dustin and Sean for pointing him out.

I am looking for a source of mandrel bends and 2 into 1 collectors. Hard to improve on the GSXR 4-2-1 header.
Ti isn't the easiest metal to work with or weld either!
Thanks,
Tony Moore
I'm looking for a source making a bolt on oil cooler adapter fitting. It should bolt to the engine block in the stock location with AN-5 or 6 male output allowing plumbing an aftermarket cooler.

Thanks for the compliment Ian. The rear hoop is getting an FEA and we expect it will exceed the GCR minimum G loads by a significant margin. Good srutineering on your part.
Tony Moore
Part of the illusion is the angle of the photo. I agree it is a good idea to have the wheel lower than the hoop in any case.
Thanks for the compliment on the shop. Did you spot the mini sprint in...
Gary is 6'1" and there is room to spare. I expect 6'3" or so would sit comfortably. Like most formula cars, fit is comfortably snug.
Outside shape, stay tuned!

Hello to all. My name is Tony Moore. Gary Hickman and I flew in from San Diego for the ARRC weekend. A pleasure to meet and talk to most of you at the ARRC race.
Here are several pictures of our...
Thanks guys. I see a lot of good shared info here.
Hello everyone. A lot of good discussion. I am thinking about building a car myself. The GCR is clear as mud on just about everything.
I believe a belly pan should be steel. However, the GCR...
