If I lived in the NE I'd be all over this. I'd love to run with no restrictor or a larger restrictor in an all Honda FF class.

No, it's Proxes RR
All SCCA members with an active email address got that email.
At that price I would be interested in club racing the car if it fit somewhere. But they lost me with the motor rental and sealed motor. It's even a detuned K20. It doesn't need to be replaced yearly.
That makes no sense to me. I have over 4000 miles on my Fit motor. A 158 HP K20 should last a long time.
Formula Lites are at MSR Houston this weekend. I wonder if they will have any info.
I don't know but if I had any FM questions I would call Moses Smith at Texas Autosports.
Good stuff. It would be nice if there was a price list for the parts catalog.
Now I see why Majors cost more to enter. They really go over the top on that podium display, don't they?
It's being so ignored by you. No one is forcing you to run cells that are 20 years old. It is your decision. If anyone wants to replace their cells every 5 years no one is stopping them.
Your local track wil be MSR Houston. It has a good membership deal.
Is that going to be another electric hill climb car?
item 3 in the document attached under tire specifications says no rain tires.
2 issues with that.
1. I already have mounted rains as do a lot of others who also race SCCA.
2. The dunlops and Avons are significantly taller than Hoosier slicks. Going dry or wet is usually...
I'm baffled why rain tires aren't allowed. What is the reason?
If you like your engine package, you can keep your engine package.
Is it going to be at the Runoffs next week?
Could be for nitrogen purge.
No, the third spring is the actual spring connected to each rocker with struts. The torsion bar is the fron anti-roll bar with ajustable blades connected to each rocker with a second pair of struts.
Was there one? I never could find one. There was nothing in the supps. There was nothing in the packet received at registration. What they gave us for the Thurs. test day didn't show them.
Qualifying is going to be fun. With only 15 minutes and 85 cars what's your chance of getting a clean lap. I'm happy the FF group is the smallest.
I don't think they would break even with only 200 cars.
But go to your My Races page and click on edit. It says registration for the event hasn't been enabled.
Also, did anyone get an email confirmation? I didn't.
Yeah, the Lone Star Region website had a link saying COTA was open and now it's gone. I bet it wasn't enabled and we're all going to have to re-register.
Is there going to be a test day 3/7? If so, how do you register for it?
That's weird. It doesn't come up in the calendar for me either.
If any of you want to come early and run the Double National at MSR Houston 2/22-24 you can make arrangements to leave your trailers at MSR Houston. I signed up today and they have a drop down box to...
I think they are using Motorsportreg instead of DLB.
Sorry to here that. Get well soon JRII. Was he in the new Piper?
You would be illegal in all the current national formula classes. You could only run FS which is a catch all regional class. BTW, you couldn't run f600 either.
If you put fenders on it you can...
His website says he's around Austin. That's about 200 miles one way.
To what pressure?
SRP Engineering (Stimola) used to sell a portable N2 kit. I don't know how much it is but it's probably pricey and the bottle is real small. Better to but your own bottle and regulator and get it...
Cell material can crack and weep vapors with age especially in areas where they flex although 5 years isn't that old. You don't have to see signs of liquid in order for your garage to fill with...
Look for yourself

What I don't like about MyLaps is they don't list the car and engine.
Saferacer can't even get their decal orders right. I ordered 6 decals. You know - the ones SCCA makes you display. Today the order came and there was only 1 in the envelope. I could see them sending...
It says it shall be unaltered.
At least they're free. I wouldn't want to pay for them.
8211 1316 B2 front
8211 1316 B3 rear
You can look up the lengths from the 1316 part no. B number is the valving.
If you don't get any responses, I can look at the numbers stamped in my old ones. But I won't have access to them until this weekend.
When I bought my DB-1 it had Koni 8211's on it. I think they were the original shocks but I can't be sure. 8211's are steel.
Wow, John Finger is still around. I remember him building those rotary powered hill climb cars as far back as 1980.
Since your base plate is welded you dont need the ground. The ground is only needed when the plate rotates for vacuum advance.
I don't know, but there are none registered for the runoffs.
So she's holding on to a motorcycle grip for balance, what's she going to hold on to on the F1K grid?
They made an outboard Swift?
