I recognize a ton of those, T70 (Can-Am), T290 nose and T292-96 side vents (BSR), T324 and T620 noses (S/V), T640 (FF), T360 (Atlantic), many others.

Agree on both counts.

Nothing beats karting for getting comfortable and consistent.

Shifters are very, very physical, and getting up to speed is much harder. The shifting part is different...

Our lesson is to never again trust fast-talking strangers selling race cars.

I don’t think we’ve met Chris, but our best friends have run tool-and-die shops for forty years, and with similar employee numbers. So this hits home a bit, regardless of it not being their fire....
