Looking forward to the RRR drivers school in Feb. as well, I'm slated to be the Safety Steward and I may drop in to say hello (not in a official capacity).
.
Thanks Dietmar, I being told vw7700T40EL for this "deal". Is that the same?
Can someone give me the model number of the EMPI AA jug/piston set please for a FV motor.
Thanks
We have gotten 2 Vee's - please look at coming to Barber and help us to keep separate groups!

Group six will have FF/CF/FV/FST/F5 separate from the rest of the wings and things...
He has a plastic float with a washer jb welded on the bottom but did have the brass wand in position (which I have never seen before). The brass was not attached to the float just sitting on top, it...
It was number 7 missing
Not that screw, we took the top off and that was there. This is the brass screw on the outside just below the top on side opposite of the bowl side.
I was at the AX that Paul was trying to run. The problem getting it to run drained the battery so he was only able to make 1 run. When we took the cover off you could easily smell it was flooded. I...
Paul, check your email I may have noticed something
Chris, 2dogs is the Vee entered on Sunday. I'll be adding my name soon for Sunday only at this time since I am one of the event leaders.
Not FF but I saw the results of a VW oil pump shaft become separated to the gear for some reason thereby no worka no oil pressure.
Thank you - need to make sure where I post next time:o
Hopefully a quick question - I have a cart that I hope to use to move my Vee long block from my SUV into after it is worked on. What is the weight of a 1200 VW long block?
I use Hardwood Dollies for my Vee - just check the wheels for grease,
Here is a local Vee that is in south Huntsville - this car is ready to go, look at the lower posts and the price is lower

It is a great car...
Welcome to the area redliterunner - North Alabama has a small somewhat active group of road racers with Tennessee Valley Region of SCCA.
I will assume that the D13 you speak of is the one of two in...
Check with Fred Clark at Caracal Cars - Caracal is on the web.
33 is San Francisco Region
Check the main hoop all over for a stamped number. Different tech people place them so hopefully it isn't hard to find. If you find a number them maybe the region it came from has some sort of...
I know of really good Caracal D (Huntsville Al)with spares and a enclosed trailer for around 8K and a clean Caracal C (NC) for 5750....plus several others.
Looks to be a Caracal C or a Lynx adjusted to make a Caracal C. Have you seen a logbook number stamped on it?
I'm interested but since I'm the RE for Tennessee Valley Region (sanctioning region), driver of a Caracal C, and a worker for the event - I'm already in.
You will enjoy the track and it will keep...
Gary - I raced my FV at Nashville and Barber and I work races at Road Atlanta and I have watched the entries for the small bore slowing ebb away.
Not because they were placed with higher hp wings...
Missing the point Gary - entries make money - no entries no money - can't pay rent with no money. Low Hp Formula cars no entries no money no rent no event. Lack of entries whatever, the President,...
Take it from someone who actually is part of a group that puts on races - if a group has 5 cars then yes it will be safer but that group does little to support the biggest concern - BOTTOM LINE....
It is a diservice to workers and event officals to put out a group of 5 cars for a race group - WAKE UP. Safe groups - I agree that it is great to not have to worry about 20 or more seconds a lap...
We had a couple of things play into the grouping - as farrout mentions F600 drivers requested a seperate group to promote their cars and race series. If the fastest F600 could have bettered any other...
This weekend at Road Atlanta was another sad showing of the lower speed formula cars turn out. You might have the excuse that they made them combine all wings and things together for qualifing but...
As an FV driver I have contacted FV drivers via email to run Nashville SS RR's. We started out alright with a combo of the lower speed formula cars. The more years the less FV/FF/CF/FST never a F5....
As an RE for a SEDIV region that tries to put on RR events I have been both an admin and a driver and the problem in SEDIV is basically the FV/FF/CF/F500 open wheel not even showing up at the events...
Any pictures of the weekend out on the 'nets?
As a low budget also ran I am having the time of my life with a great bunch of people - I will never be at the front end but if it wasn't for FV I would not be road racing and I would probably...
I think Fred Clark will be there or have cars there.
Jim - I have only seen one FST at SEDIV races in the past few years if you take away the ARRC. The FST's are more numberous in CENDIV but SEDIV is not a FST area at all. If enough of the FST wannabes...
Here you go http://www.tracksidetim.com/ call soon

Your in with fast friends already! Cort is doing double duty with a CF in Group 1 and a FM in Group 5. Maybe you can pull some plugs wires off and give us a chance in Group 1?
We have a FSt that is looking at entering - just trying to round up someone he can run with. Any FST's needing some run time before their big...
