I'll tell you right now the orientation will be wrong lol
Definitely interested in the wheels

I recently picked up a sports racer with 10 inch front wheels. Has 13's in the rear.
I'm thinking a f500 was used in the chassis build.
Does anyone recognize this front suspension?
Thanks
Looks like this car is for sale on race-cars . Com
I am.
Good luck this season!!
2022 schedule determined yet?
Thanks
Thanks John for starting and maintaining the site these many years. Hope someone steps in to take it over.

You might try Tony Grau in Moline
I think he's only running one fe2 car for Pat Witherspoon.
Just a heads up. The waterford school is scca accredited. Last I looked vrg was not. Perhaps this has changed recently and someone can chime in to clarify.
Check out the Waterford Hills drivers school usually held at the end of april.
Track is in the Detroit area .
This is a great idea! Good luck. I'm not seeing the price on your linked site. Are you going to post it for sale here?
True but the GCR indicates the use of 6 and 8's for both engines.
I ran my Anson in FA in the early 90's. Not sure what has changed since then. My current car is a tube frame based on a FF2000 chassis. Perhaps easier to make compliant than a tub car.
Will check...
FSV can run 1600cc or 1800cc engines. Fuel injection or carbs. All must use 6" and 8" wheels
I think a 1800 would do really well in this class. Might look the FC class of the early 80's
Anyone know what became of Bob from formula haus. Sure he could make one for you.
I would expect a good machine shop couple replicate the one that's there. I did it for a sports racer with a broken bar.
Change of plans for 1st guy leaves me still needed some help. Car ready to go. I'm not a total novice and plan to breeze through the school
???? Nut and bolt, add fuel , go check out some SRVA cars....

So no O2 sensor. That a leaves me with a choice . There is a local marina that sells
Non alcohol 91 octane fuel or I could use avgas. Both same price as well as convenient.
aleo have a CFf I plan...
Not sure about that. Will find out. Was told that the lack of a catalytic converter has some barring on it as well.
will look around for some alcohol free pump gas
thanks
Putting the finishing touches on the Traxstar and plan to get the car on track next weekend.

Had a bobsy Vega that I bought from a kart racer in the early 90s . Think I sold it to a motorcycle guy here in
Ohio. If any of this sounds firmilar let me know. Would be cool to find out what...
That's a great schedule. Thanks for the info.
heres a couple pictures of the engine bay. The engine hangs entirely off the rear mount. Seems like some attachment at the front would be a good idea....
Quick update on the Traxstar. Got iit across the border with no trouble. Had to get an exemption letter from the EPA which was easy.

This is the Roatch car. Not sure how many races it ran as I haven't seen the log book yet. I know it did some endurance racing and has mounts for air jacks and come with some quick refueling...
Yes it is a side mounted motor. The car is called a TraXstar and was built in Vancouver BC. There are a dozen or so pictures of the car online. Some pics show a carburated motor with 4 air filters...
I am in the process of purchasing a P2/ Dsr car. It has sat with little to no attention for a.few years. It has a 2004 fuel injected Yamaha motor. I know I should just pull it and take it to George...

April 29-30. Pocono southeast
May 13-14. NYST. NY
June 24-25. Summit Point Shenendoah circuit
Aug 5-6. NJMP Thunder & Lightning combo
Sept 2-3. 3 Club Motorsports NH
I would recomend Akron-Canton CAK. About an hour from the track. Easy in and out and never a long wait . Heading to Seattle from there in a couple weeks.
I was wondering as to the fuel usage of the 600cc engine. I know most motorcycles have around a 5 gallon tank. How much fuel is need for a typical race length.
Thanks
