Your going to need to diss-amssemble and inspect every part of the linkage. Clean and lube as you go. The shifter rod should be a smooth as it passes though any bearings or bushings....

I've not heard of a HD 200. The Hewland HD 4 or HD 5 was Mike Hewland first proper race transaxle. circa 1963. Parts are hard to find. The Gears for the 4 speed are thicker than the 5 speed .The HD...

The HU on lola tags does stand for there factory Location of Huntington. The eariler cars like the T70 , The 140/142 series were built in Slough and those tags show "SL"
