AFAIK the term "low lead" for avgas means low by aviation standards, which is still higher than street fuel
I'm leaving the mech pump, at least for now. I've never had a problem with the cubes, tho.
It's all on the previous owner, he put the entire fuel system together from the junk parts bin. Pump...
A friend wants to convert a Triumph TR2 to electric pump, going to use a Facet cube. I know elec pumps like to push instead of pull, but if we mount it way low on frame, can it go up front? Tank on...

Landar (Llandar?) would have been my first guess...saw one at autocrosses years ago
I doubt it's a Unipower
the 18 parts are what DB has--also fit 22 + 23
they would be my second choice, if I can't find the right ones
I need some for my Westfield suspension
7/16 ID x 15/16 OD x 1.5 long
Dave Bean has some that are a bit shorter
Moss doesn't have a size chart
not at Burton or Merlin

Has anyone with a mk6 used a rhino case?
all that "spine" they added will hit the lower cross member.
not an issue to cut it back, but is that the only issue?
Anyone else having a vibration problem with the fronts?
Under hard braking they can get a bounce going
Thanks---we'll give it a shot next month
Any reccomendations for Texas Motor Speedway in a Titan FF?
Hallett set, or a bit longer?
Over the last couple of years, I've ordered general maint stuff for my Westfield---clutch cable, wheel studs, gaskets, etc.
no problems
Anybody got a contact for Heartland Vintage Racing? Two attempts thru the website got nowhere. Looking for info on August event at Topeka.
I've got one--but it's in use
I THINK it came from fuel safe years ago
they have a vintage FF cell on website with that size neck, maybe they still make them
Lake Garnett is in southeast Kansas.
I bought a trailer from Al about 25 years ago.
As of 5-6 years ago, I think he was still in the Kansas City area
what day does CM run?
I was in Curtis' shop in January, and he said the place was for sale. There was a flow bench on fleebay a couple of months ago, and by the address, I figured it was his. Maybe his plans changed....
Farley has retired
still a work in progress once we got them around 17 hot, they got much better
according to Hoosier, we might need a couple more to dial them in
turned out to be low air pressure...we just weren't getting them up to hot pressure they like
a bad tire gauge wasn't helping, either
Had a problem this weekend with a new set of Hoosier vintage treads...car was fine during Friday practice, using up an old set of Dunlops. For Sat quali session, we put on a new set of...
how about one of these?
they come in various "power" ratings

first moved into the reverse spot, and the stack went on from there
Was this engine ever used in a RWD car? If not, you're probably out of luck.
Any reason not to go electronic? I've got 2 of the cheaper MSD units on Kent 1600 engines, and they are fine.
I never used one of the Bosch mechanical units, but years ago I had a Lucas one in my...
does anyone have a feel yet for how well the Hoosiers maintain pressure? I'm thinking of putting a set on my Westfield, but if I have to check pressures twice a week (like dunlops) it won't happen
If I understand you, would 3230-8-12AN and something like 3288-12-045 from Pegasus work? the blue hose will not stretch, sometimes it's enough fun getting it on the right size barb
NOT Royale RP-14
if I understand your need.....
use a piece of 1" dia. aluminum round stock, maybe 2" long
drill it thru the length, and tap for any pipe thread you need
I would assume they used them for vibration isolation. The ones on the gearbox are smaller OD, I couldn't find any when I tried recently, for a Titan MK6. When these get really bad, I'll probably...
Allan and Malcolm Loughead formed an aircraft company in the early 1900's that eventually became Lockheed---they changed the spelling because nobody could pronounce Loughead correctly

I was told once that a lot of these starter units actually were DC-3 GENERATORS, which were rewired and used as starters...24volt There must be some old-time indy car mechs out there who can sort...
I had an Autocraft pump on one of my engines.
Any parts store should be able to sell you a 1# box of sticky weights--I get mine at Oreilly
I wouldn't use the beads in a race tire---they seem to me to be more of a "steady state" item...put...
I had a pair of carreras for a FF rebuilt last year by advanced. Not much over $100 each, included new shafts, fast turn around, good folks
Lawrence-this is a RP-18, very little interchange with -14
I'll try to hook him up with a friend in OK who has an 18
Charlie
I heard a couple of years ago he had retired and moved to the Golden, CO area
but I don't have any contact info
The balls come in threes because they are from Francisco Scaramanga Mfg...?
When I installed the Volvo parts, I did like Bob, rolled up some shim stock to fill the gap I used JB weld to hold it in place, just do it the night before with dummy bolts. It's probably long...
If you're determined to overdo it, tap off the power cord of the charger with a 120v coil relay to close the charge circuit when plugged in......

The shank of that stud seems to have a taper on it, like a regular production car ball joint. Could be someone just found a ball joint or tie rod end with sizes they liked, and used the guts...if so,...
