Any results from this weekend???
Rob,
I think that you could suggest to Jim S. that he remove the cloaking device (and the "Hit Me" sign) from your new car. All kidding aside though, in both instances the drivers had enough...
To Sam Farmiga:
Walt misspelled your name. He is a very bad person. I will personally reprimand him.

Rob,
I believe that Saturday's results were:
McSherry
Seim
Formiga

Damn......didn't think that one through...;)
thought I'd drop in here and see how the FST peeps are doing. Very much looking forward to getting after it here in a month or so, hope everyone's preparations are going smoothly! Slowly, very slowly...
My two cents. Keeping in mind I just completed my first season competing in FST I have a couple comments. First, $4000 for a competitive FST engine in my opinion is a bit light, however not too far...
Bill,
I'm not certain, but I think Phil had fast lap Sat. at Gateway (1 Point). I attached a photo of the lap record certificate. Doug got fast lap on Sunday. Please consider this. Thanks.

Hey guys, Team McSherry will be there for lunch at least 4 maybe 6.
I'm still working on an entry for the crew challenge, trying to talk my wife into it, we'll see. What a great idea guys should...
Great weekend recaps by both Robert's, you guys should write for Road&Track!! That was by far the most fun I've had in racing since I started in 2004, this group is the best! Just clean hard fought...
First off I have to say a huge thank you to everyone: Robert G., Doug S., Bill B., Larry C., Butch, Sam F., Dave D., Doug S. And everyone in the FST clan for all of your hard work and limitless...
For anyone else wondering like me. According to Mr. Speer of Hoosier tire, a support truck from Hoosier Tire Midwest will be at the track.
Does anyone know if the Hoosier guys will be at the track?
It's coming along, now on to bodywork. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be able to make the Grattan race due to the bodywork modifications. Not enough time and, quite frankly, experience and know...
The specific chassis is M2-14.
1990 M2. The "skinny" one. Chassis had to be lengthened over 2" to accommodate the dry sump tank.

Our goal is to have the conversion finished and make that weekend our first event. Should have a drivable car by the end of the week, then on to the bodywork.
Nothing new yet, hopefully this weekend
pretty car! curious where you found your lower front shock mount "extensions"?
Thanks for posting these Bill, I will try to get better more detailed photos as we progress more. Will be finish welding the rack mount next weekend and finishing the sorting (shock mounting etc.)...
I can't thank you all enough! I think we're nearing the end of our "research" phase and just about ready to start getting our hands dirty. I'm sure I'll be in touch to pick all your brains here and...
I appreciate the info, I'll look them both up.
Phil
gorgeous car! Just curious, what type of wheel, and where can I find them if you don't mind me asking?
Getting started on the conversion from Vee to FST, can anyone offer any advice, do's and don'ts etc.?
