If your engine will only spin 170 rpm it's probably hard to start. My car will be very hard to start at less than 250 rpm.

I would stay with the 1 3/8 if you can, just to the roll hoops consistent.Most stock car stuff and dirt cars use 1 1/2 tubing for roll hoops some even larger that's why it easier to find 1 1/2...

Charlie- I have raced at TMS in a FF many times. Hallett gears would only work in the infield. You need athe following gears I am assuming you have a 9/31 R&P. 19/33 21/30 23/28 25/26 or 25/25.
