It has been my experience that the nuts are tighter when everything is hot, and therefore easier to loosen after cooling down. This is on my Lola T163 which uses mag wheels with steel stubs and nuts....

As you are changing rake, be it front or rear, do you reset camber each time, or just let it change?

Google "urethane die springs" . 3/8 id x 1 1/8 odis a common size. Available in many lengths or stock tubes. Works great for

The INNER cable ends are also slipped over the INNER cable and crimped. I'm talking about those slipping making what he describes happen. Agree it is time to replace.

The ends are slipped over the cable and then crimped. I would bet that one or both ends were not crimped proper and have slipped. replace it b4 one of the ends falls off. Just my $0.02

I would say that if both sets of gears are the same diameter, the wider set will be the scavenge side and the narrower the pressure.

A good media blast is what is needed to keep it on. A lot of coaters just burn the item to be coated or do a wash but no mechanical roughing. The roughing is what any coating is held on by. My $0.02....
