Ben, do you mean the 1/8" NPT just below the thermostat housing? That's where Ford put the original temperature switch and where most of us put the temp sender.

Xanthos built a replica Lotus 23 using a Toyota 4AGE coupled to a VW type 3 gearbox. I think a 2L Zetec, Mk adapter to a type 3 gearbox would be cost effective. Mazda Miata engine would work well...

Double axle, much better resistance to sway, wind. I have a 7x18 V nose Featherlite that weighs 4600lbs with 500lb tongue weight.
Rick does excellent work. Highly recommended.
Drawing was from the previous owner when I contacted him about buying it. Helped a bunch with layout. Be particularly mindful of tongue weight, especially with tool box and equipment stored in...
The previous owner of my 7x18 V nose Featherlite trailer hauled an FA Swift 008 on skinny trailer wheels. The door opening is 70" and the width between the rails of the ramp is 66". So that's one...
I crewed for a friend with an FM about 15 years ago. He hauled it on a 7x14 utility trailer behind his class B motorhome. He used some Hazard Fraught curved ramps to load it.
In addition to what Scott advised, some used two stroke engines with 4 cylinders. Jeff Miller used a Kohler 6 cylinder engine.

Hello Larry,
Did you have a smartycam connected to it at one time?
Mine as well, but it does have a deadbolt with a steel strikeplate bolted behind the door frame. Someone would have to destroy the door, or use an electric shear to cut the aluminum wall panels....
It's also the latches. My featherlite trailer has a pair of aluminum flat bar latches that are easy enough to cut through and open without bolt cutters.
So I drilled 5/16" holes through both...
