Interesting, as the Hewland Mk series and LD200 series have different ear profiles. I think these are designed as a Mk style.

As the rear of a formula car weights more then the front, I would expect it to be warmer.

Remember, springs rates I've given are for old cars, in some case, not adjusted for modern replacement tires.

The Surtees TS-5A in the shop has run #400 rear springs.

We use Cartel 580 on everything that runs through the shop (F5 - F5000). It is a DOT 4, 580 dry boiling point (min wet, 410). Girling LMA dry numbers are south of that. It will mix with those fluids...
