I've driven COTA before, but never in a PFM. Is anyone willing to share their COTA setup (i.e. ride height, camber, toe, damper compression/rebound settings)?
I'll obviously tweak settings on...
I currently have a tall stack and need a short stack gear set for a slower track. My mechanic sent me my current ratios and the ratios I need. But it doesn't look like the Star website has any of the...
Interesting. thanks for sharing.
you’re right to consider the gearing. I was running a tall-ish stack on a short stack track, so I knew I was losing some time from that. Need to order a short stack. Do you swap 2-6 or just 3-6 for...
Fair point. I figured the extra drag on the PFM would eat into some of the HP advantage, but I didn't think it would cancel out the entirety of the extra 70 or so hp the PFM has.
Does not start up super quickly. Sometimes I need to hold the starter a bit to get it going. Give it a touch of gas too.
Good idea on compression check.
Def. on the gas as early. In fact, I...
Has anyone dyno'd their PFM? What kind of numbers did you achieve?
I noticed in my last test day that I would make up a ton of ground on FE2s by late braking and carrying more speed in corners,...
Apologies if this has been beaten to death, but I only found a thread discussing front wings. When I bought my car, I was told it came with a gen 2 front wing but a gen 1 rear wing. the race shop...
I'm not seeing anything in the official recommended rule changes (link below). Where else would that info be posted?

I recently bought a PFM and have 2 wings. I believe one is a new style wing. The doc on StarRaceCars.com on the resources page explains the benefit of the new wing but doesn’t have any pictures, so...
It looks like the S compound is equivalent to the R35B in durability, but gets up to temp faster.
...
It looks like the older pfm tires (43333 and 43331) came in the softer R35B and firmer R55A compounds. https://www.hoosiertire.com/assets/Circuit%20for%20website%207%2030.pdf
Which of the two do...
where did you buy them?
also did you go with 200 or 210 front?
I’m looking for someone who can transport a PFM, three 2x2x2 boxes of spares, a spare set of wheels, and a couple of wings from Denver to Houston in the next two weeks. Thanks.

the Star Race Cars manual for the PFM says the oil must be changed every 2 hours. Seems like a lot. I’d have to change...
thanks!
Have you heard of anyone using Avon tires? They're the only company I can find who makes a 14 or 15 inch wide rear slick for a 13 inch wheel. They're more rubber, so more expensive, but I...
I think I’m sold on the PFM. What rule change are you referring to? What’s the engine change?
also, I’m having a weirdly difficult time to find basic info about the car, like wheel and tire...
Which system did you install? Geartronics?
I’m a member of a local track and have a track-side garage, so I do plenty of track days and will have plenty in the FA before first race in September (and have done track days in a friend’s FA...
?I am in the process of purchasing my first FA. Given my current budget, I had planned on going with a well sorted PFM and upgrading to a paddle shift kit and current aero. The PFM may not be...
