The Sebring major was won by a car with Drums when another car had discs. The car with discs wasnt seconds faster or unbeatable but things were equal.

For my generation and the future generations...

As an outsider looking in it appears there are two options.

Option A. FB is folded into FA and both remain eligible for national events.

Option B. FB ceases to be a national class and FA is not...

As more manufacturers start to build these the costs will come down with competition.

Remember this has to do with cost savings over the long haul with pads and rotors over the shoes and drums....

If your spread sheet featured the challenge cup wheel and tire package with the newly approved disc brakes it would be much cheaper than the slicks/drums combo.

If you're looking to race in the area there really aren't alot of CFF's running around here.

You're best bet would be the FV Challenge cup. It's cheap and there are 20-30 Cars at each event.
