H-Mod racers, I'm restoring an H-mod that raced in Illinois in the 1970 and was known as an ALTA, there is a picture of it racing at Meadowdale. The car has a Starkweather body and is powered by a Morris Minor side valve engine with an overhead valve conversion head by Darrington. I have spoke to the last owner but he has lost all info because of a move. The car was rummored to have been built by two brothers in Rockford Illinois?
