Any news on the results (gear profiling, differential galling, etc.) of the teardown that Elite was supposed to do on the transmission used in the test last month?
The gearbox did not arrive back to ourselves until Thursday 22nd July and the gears did not arrive until Friday 23rd July. We are currently undertaking various tests on the parts and an official response will be sent to the SCCA shortly.
Initial visual inspection shows no sign of wear on gear teeth after over 1000 miles of testing/racing.
