Wolf GB08S testing at Thunderhill
We (JFC Racing) tested at Thunderhill this last week in preparation for the 25 Hour race. We enjoyed the presents of the Wolf Factory team from Italy. It was a pleasure to work with everyone and most of all we are having fun and learned a lot from our testing.
Ivan showed us all how to get around Thunderhill at a blistering pace. Putting down a 1:32.3, and he said that the car is capable of going into the 30 & 31's. We won't be on that pace during the race, but it is nice to know that there is a little left in the tank if it is needed.
It is now time for preparation and implementing everything we learned during testing. The RPE engine has been running wonderful and the chassis is balanced for excellent tire wear.
Many thanks to Jackson Dean Construction, who keeps the program moving. We couldn't do it without their support. We are still open to other sponsorship, as we move forward. It is all coming together for us here at JFC Racing, even though we are unknown, we are going to give it our best effort. A great group of racers, all working together and having fun. That's what it's all about.
Follow JFC Racing on Facebook. That is where we are posting pictures and updates for the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. JFC Racing and Wolf Racing Cars; Miles Jackson, Al Unser Jr., Al Unser III and Ivan Bellarosa.
Nice web site...from 2011!
Guess they are spending it all on car maintenance. Still could hit the apexs...lol:D

Yes he's good and fast but why would you try curb clipping in the first laps of a 6 hour endure with a brand new car that's has a terminal velocity over 30 MPH faster then the competition?
Sounds like sensible driving to me. When Miles started racing (in the Chevron F5000) he would go at a good pace down the straights then tip-toe the corners until he figured it out. Just about the most level headed driver I've ever watched. VERY rarely beyond his limitations (as Clint Eastwood would say).
Between him, his brother and their other driving partners, they can all drive this wheel well:
