steering rack change
I'm replacing the old worn out Triumph steering rack with a new Titan rack on my Caldwell D9. It is drilled for 1/2" LH threads on the end of the rack and so I'm planning on using rod end based tie rods. The question is do I go with a clevis on the rack ends and what size rod ends on the tie rod? Then out at the Triumph steering arms how do I convert to a rod end to replace the tapered ball joint? I would think there must be adaptors for this.

The Clevis is a good way of doing it and how most are set up. As for a source. I would look at aircraft spruce supply.
for the steering arms you wont find an adapter you will have to drill it out to take a bolt that is the right size. Or thread your tie rod to take the triumph end.
