deck height pre vs cross-flow?

OK, I obviously have too much time on my hands because I dug out all my old Martin Three-Valve engine stuff and started mocking up an engine build. I have a 711 block bored to fit 82.5mm flat top pistons, lots of rods, a couple cranks, all I need is a cam, followers, bearings, flywheel...yikes!

My question du jour is what is the difference in deck height between a 120E block Kent and the 1600cc 711 block (typical FFord block). Vague memory says 3/8". The issue is push rod length. I think the answer is in the front section of the Dave Bean catalog, but I can't find mine. Anyone?

Dave Bean lists the 120 deck height as 7.78", vs. 8.21" for the 1600

Connecting rod length is 4.800", vs. 4.928" for the 1600

120E stroke is 2.864 vs. 3.056"

Piston compression height is 1.53" vs. 1.74" for the 1600

1600 push rod is 7.75" for the cross flow, 6.6" for the 105E, 7.375" for the 116E
