Unique Try Before You Buy Program Announced

World Speed Inc. announced today that they will be offering a unique "try before you buy" discount program for the FormulaSPEED2.0. A test day with World Speed support in the all new car will be $2725, and if you order a new FS2.0 within 30 days of the test $1000 will be deducted from the purchase price. There are only a few openings available per month for this program. Tests will be arranged in the order of requests.

The FormulaSPEED2.0 features modern racecar technologies without breaking the bank, or making the car difficult to work on. The car features a spec Cosworth ECU that manages the dry-sump MZR 2.0L DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with variable valve timing. A few of the other notable features include: A spec data acquisition system with steering wheel display, 6 speed sequential transaxle, and inboard rocker suspension with double adjustable dampers.

"We worked with icons of the racing industry on where costs could be contained, and where high end components were mandatory. I am really proud at how hard our partners worked, and thought, to help us meet all of our objectives," stated project manager Mark Milazzo. "The final product is a high-end racing car that is durable and cost effective to compete in."

The major partners in the design and development of the new car have been Fast Forward Components, Hasselgren Engineering, and Aerocraft Fiberglass & Design. Other notable companies that have featured components on the FormulaSPEED2.0 are MAZDASPEED, Ian Gordon Racing, AiM Sports, Ohlins Shocks, Hewland, Red Line Oil and Cosworth.

Complete FormulaSPEED2.0 racing cars are priced at $69,500.
