Max Papis Racing announced today that is has signed a non exclusive agreement with Motorsports Southwest, LLC, Austin, Texas and Wolf Racing Cars, Italy.

The companies will work together to promote the Wolf line of open cockpit LMP3 sports car that range from the CN Spec GB08 with a Honda K20 engine to the GB08SR that runs the 450 HP RPE V8.

“The Wolf is a very impressive car. It is very quick and a lot of fun to drive. The car has very good balance, amazing aero grip and is well designed and built. Off course, Wolf is based in Italy near where I was born so that is a plus also”, said Max Papis, legendary driver with an impressive career starting in karts and spanning all possible types of racing from Formula 3 to Formula One to Grand Am, Daytona Prototypes, CART, Indy 500, to 24 Hours of LeMans, to NASCAR. “I can see why Wolf has such a strong winning record in the European Endurance races”.

“We are very excited to be working with Max.” said Dean Turnbaugh of Motorsports Southwest. “Having someone with Max’s background and skill is extremely valuable to Wolf and the Wolf effort in North America.” “Max’s driving skills, ability to provide feedback on the car and positive assessment of the Wolf’s capability is very important to us.”

Max will be participating with Wolf and Motorsports Southwest at various track events and promotions in 2013 starting at Monticello Motor Club this upcoming June 1 .
