Neat Exercise
Now into my fouth week of rambling around North America in the RV. I've seen many neat things as I've visited race shops in 8 states.
In the Detroit area is a cool FS car being configured. Picture the FB Piper that Justin won with at the ARRC a few years back. Now add a DSR modified motor, better cooling sidepods, bigger wheels, and a few other touches.... Seems someone is determined to set the Waterford track record. :)

It's a damn shame to see the Piper car taken out of FB configuration. 2 years ago that car was as fast as most cars are today. Don has been designing national championship caliber cars for a long time and you could not ask for a better company than Fast Forward to machine the parts and build the cars. I truly cannot wrap my brain around why people are not buying Piper FBs. Anyone?
Converted continentals are going to be the ride to have for the foreseeable future. All of them need more bodywork since for some reason we are allowed to have a wider body than an Atlantic, but that is a manageable task.
Maybe you could chloroform Rob and strap the car to the top of your motorhome and take it to a good home?

Thank God you're talking about Coopers car. Your name and exercise in the same post had me worried.

We'll be sure to keep him honest... ;)
Still in the area?
