Several years ago I had Ivo Vinklarek repair weld an FT200 case and he did a great job. John, there is a guy in Florida who can repair magnesium, but I can't seem dredge up his name. He used to have a shop in Winter Park, built lots of chassis's for the drag race crowd. Skip Weld may be able to get his name and contact info.
There is another fellow in Winter Springs named Hector who has a shop. He also builds for the drag crowd. Of course I can't recall the name of his shop....
That would be Tim Takash. He doesn't have his own shop anymore but does work for a race shop in Orlando somewhere.
