Wasn’t that the car EFR won the Pro title in?
(I think in 1974, but might have been in ‘73)
Edit: more thought thinks Bertil Roos won ‘73...
I really hope I’m wrong, and would love to be... but somewhere along the line *think* I heard the Lynn was crashed and lost. But I sure hope not.
Giant grain of salt, please, and Happy Hunting. When was it last known to be in Florida?
If I were looking, I’d first try to locate Elliot Forbes-Robinson. I ran into him at Petit Le Mans in ‘16 and he was still a very nice guy. I’d imagine he’d say that was the very car that built his career (even beyond the Porsche 914 he previously drove for Ritchie Ginther).
I don’t know if Howdy Holmes has kept in touch with history, but he ran in the era and he’s probably still running the company that makes Jiffy Mixes in Michigan.
Have you been to the Super Vee site?
Edit: I just looked and sadly, if not surprisingly, Lynn is not listed.

I can add that Allen Brown has been adding Super Vee by the season as info is completed, but has yet to post any years before 1975. Definitely worth a try, the guy is a gift to history, and may well be researching for 1974:

I had a lot of friends run Super Vee, and was In touch with many all along since — but sadly four of the main drivers I did left us within the past five years.*
I also witnessed Super Vee over the life of the Series (1970 through ‘90, I believe), and would love to help your search if I can. It was a wonderful series, that mostly ended shortly after the main two US protagonists of the series for VW died in the Lockerbie air crash. :-(
Here’s wishing you the best in your search.
*One of the four was the only one I’ve been able to eulogize for being out of touch for a few years prior. The other three I haven’t the words. If a fan of Super Vee, this might be of meaning:

I bought the Lynn from Bill Scott in 1976 and raced in the Gold Cup and club races for a few years, later won the CenDiv FC Regional Championship with it. Modifications included Koni shocks with tapered elastos, a massive front anti roll bar, a March style bodywork for the cockpit, a custom rear spoiler with a Gurney lip and it weighed right at the legal minimum, 882 lbs. I sold the car to a buyer in FL whose business was transporting concert equipment in air shocked semi trailers. Last I heard they had the car at a drag strip and a Corvette backed over the nose.
I take it you mean the West Virginia Scott, not the Chicago one?
With your mention of it, I do recall your running the car. Somehow I connect your name with Chicago or Columbus, but not sure.
I’d still try to contact EFR, and would start with a call to IMSA. It seems drivers are the first to be told the whereabouts of their old cars, thanks to the enthusiasts telling them.
I did write to Allen Brown on your behalf, but no reply yet. Please keep the thread posted of any progress, I’ll do the same, and we can PM if the other fails to notice.
I genuinely hope you find your old car.
I have checked my files and I'm sorry but I don't have anything on this car's whereabouts.
Thank You for trying, Allen.
Goodonya, Mate.
