FSV clutch disc/input shaft spline
Need a 200mm. 4 puck solid hub clutch disc with an approx. 18mm. [ .70"] O.D. 24 teeth spline to mach the input [ clutch] shaft in my Hewland MK8 gear box. NO one [ not even Hewland Classic-they denied they made it ] can tell me where it came from! This was the original disc installed in 1978. I have tried ALL the suppliers and mfgr's. Could this be 3/4" nominal? Any ideas? Car is 1978 Wheeler FSV S/N 010 Thanks for your help Ted Klaus-greyeagles@msn.com

I can make these type of shafts and regularly do it. I have many hobs and hobing equipent for this purpose. I have supplied Pegasus, Taylor, Lee at WRD and others for years, 1 or two at a time. Heat treated material 4340 or 4130 I need the old shaft for dimensions and a clutch disc or hub that fits the odd spline. CMW Enterprises, Inc www.dogrings.com Wayne 760-942-9170 Calif.
