After the first week of F1 testing Fernando Alonso is so excited with his choice of teams and the prospect of the 2015 season that he has announced that he is completely changing his helmet design.

It's a clever joke for those of us who know too much! That is Chris Amon's helmet. Amon was widely regarded as one of the best drivers to never win a World Championship and plagued by bad luck and switching teams at the wrong moment.Quote:

Is the bird. Seen on Amon's helmet in the 60s.
The time sheets this week have Ferrari on top virtually every session. Sad that Alonso, who carried the team the last half decade, will not benefit.
