Thank You A.J.
"The only difference between 2 drivers of equal ability is seatime"
Dear A.J. (Buddy)
Hearing the news I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you. My father told me once "Figure out what you love to do and then figure out a way to make a living at it". It was your love for FF that allowed me to do just that.
Your championing of keeping the word "Club" in CF and cost containment is the only thing that allowed me to do that. From the free "Chalk Talk" seminars to the senior/novice driver mentoring programs to the "RCCA" tires. You allowed more people who could never afford it a chance to go formula car racing. I was one of those.
The half distance qualifying races allowing everyone to race twice and the occasional use of standing starts are 2 of the things I particularly enjoyed.
Never having to say "What if". You've touched many racers lives many of whom can only say they raced formula cars because of you. I truly don't know how you managed to pull it off all these years but I just wanted to say Thank You.
Yours for the Sport,
Jim Little

Very well written Jim and there are many, many of us who feel the same way !!!
and yes AJ made it possible for a lot of us to live out our dreams of racing
formula cars by sticking to the concept of keeping the costs at reasonable levels.
AJ faced many challenges but managed to keep the club going all these years !
Thank you AJ (Buddy) for all you've done and for being a friend,
always enjoyed your company and always will !!!
