spring rating, what to use???????

Hi I am trying to find out what spring rates I should start off using for the front and rear, please help me.thanks:thumbsup: I am building an old formula 440 to be an formula 1000. I am using a Honda cbr1000rr. The car should weight in at 845 dry. I just need some idea of springs to start off with then after I get the car figured out I can tune it in from there.

Too many unknowns here to get much commentary on this thread: what vehicle type, corner weights and suspension motion ratios are you working with?

You need to get the info in bold to start to determine spring rates.

FWIW: No offense but you may want to listen to what everyone is telling you in the multiple threads you have posted on this forum and pick a chassis other than an F440 to start your conversion. Yes, you could still build a car from what you have but it sounds like it will be a lot of work for something that is not safe, not competive and not a good use of your time or money.
