Bsp- an- npt- male/female hell

Jeez, why is this so complicated?
I'm re-plumbing my Titan Series 2 dry sump system in order stem leakage.
All is good until I try to find the right fittings for the inlet to the pressure side of the pump.
Titan fitting is a 5/8 BSP male. The inlet hose from the oil sump is 3/4 ID.
I thought I could find a 3/4" barbed fitting to fit the hose to the 5/8 BSP.
No luck.
I looked for a 5/8 BSP adapter (female BSP to AN) but the closest I can find is 8 AN with a 1/2" barb. Would need a 12 AN for a 3/4" hose.
Anyone have a way to do this?

Try British American Transfer. They have a pretty good assortment of fittings.

Related question, can you use the scavenge inlet fitting on the pressure inlet? Or does it need to be a screw on fitting?

First is it BSPP or BSPT (parallel or tapered). And then are you certain it's 5/8 .

McMaster has a lot of adapters in BSPP and BSPT but 5/8 is basically missing from the selection.

Your fitting may actually be 3/8" BSP - Might want to look at this:

Good question, I see that Titan has both a 5/8 BSP and a 10AN fitting for the pressure inlet. I will need to confirm what size I have at the shop tomorrow.

What size is the fitting on the other end of the hose? ie. could you use 5/8" bore hose right through?

If not, then something like this will allow you to connect the 3/4" hose to your 5/8" BSP male on the pump:

3/4" male x 5/8" female bsp Swivel Connector - Parquip (parquiponline.com)

You would just need a 3/4" BSP hosetail on the hose to connect up.

I called Ivey when I was changing oil lines from BSP to AN and they had what I needed. They know FF oil pumps and have seen what people have tried over the years…..

3/4” supply from the oil tank to the pressure inlet seems a bit oversized.. -10 seems to be the typical size for that. Have you considered a different fitting at the other end to reduce the hose down to a 5/8”? I would also reconsider the use of a barbed fitting and go with an AN fitting

Yes, BSP to AN-10 fitting to the "suck" port on the pump which draws oil from the dry sump tank Infact, that adapter fitting for all the pump ports.

Often in FF you'll need a 90 degree AN fitting to be clear the frame. DO NOT use a swivel 90 degree fitting there to make installing the hose to the pump easier. Swivel fitting seem fine until they age and start to leak. But they don't leak oil out ('cause they are sucking). Rather they leak air in, Thus insideiously aerating the oil going into the engine. And oil pressure readings may not indicated it is happening. And no oil leak to indicate an issue. BAD THINGS HAPPEN. Don't ask me how I know.

That's what we stock and how we've done it for decades.

Thanks for everyone's input. With help of Pegasus I changed the pressure inlet fitting to a 10AN and then combined with 12AN / 3/4 barb fitting reduced to 10AN.
