It is possible that the monocoque is steel, the chassis in the GT40 (mkI and II) was as well as the Crossle F5000.
The Dino V6 sounds absolutely glorious! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Current bid is only $3,000. You don't need to be rich. Expect it to go up some though
Reserve might be a little high, considering it sold 3 years ago for $175K AUS (about $126K US). Betcha if it sells it'll be at least $150K US.

The V6 might sound fantastic , but so does a BD series engine, I know it's not a car for the weak of wallet in any case. But does the Dino engine give any advantage over a Cosworth ? These cars cost a mint to keep on the track at the best of times, I can only think the V6 would just make that side of the equation that much worse.
Only made it to $55,000 in bidding. I'm sure that's wayyyy short of what the owner would want.
