2023 Hallett Super Tour

Saturday's race: qualified 13th, had a bad start and fell back. Made a pass, gained a few spots from people dropping out, and then a mistake put me sideways in the grass and cost me a couple spots, 14th as a result.

Found a bit more speed Sunday morning and qualified 7th, which put me 10th on the combined grid. Had a much better start and did pretty well, except for one mistake when running side by side that cost me two positions. In hindsight I probably should have conceded the position, but I had the inside. Ultimately was running comfortably in 11th when a car rejoining in front of me far too closely for comfort put debris in my path. That put me in 10th, but the debris did some damage to the car and I crashed out within a lap.

So, a mixed bag, I found the pace I needed to run in the top 10, but bad luck ended my race and I wrecked the car in the process. So - get it fixed, and on to the next one.
