I would like to find out what the characteristics of the Hankook C92 tire compound are.
Hankook calls C92 "super soft" and the C72 "Soft".
Would C92 be most like the Pirelli Supersoft (yellow sidewall) tires?
Looking to use for short duration (40 second runs) solo events on my formula car.
Would you call C92 a cool weather road race compound?

I have run the C92 on my 1025lb with driver Stohr along with the Pirelli purple ultrasoft and yellow "soft race compound"
The C92 is nowhere near as soft and I don't think will work well for your purposes. For short sprints, with Pirelli no longer producing the hillclimb compounds, the next best option is something from Avon in my opinion.

Thanks Mark. European supplier says Pirelli has suspended circuit and hillclimb for 2023, but did add if supply issues clear up, they intend to resume. Hankook's C92 (in a front 240/570R13 on my car) tire occurred to me as a hot weather (95 to 110 F ambient) possibility for solo. I agree Avon appears to be one of the next best bets for 2023, but only one of a pair of 245/570R13 fronts I ordered showed up in the last container from Avon! Going to continue to take care of my 2 sets of Pirelli for this season.
I've never 'solo-ed', so this may be ridiculous, but for 45 second runs, would shaved rain tires work as they're softer to begin with?
Ian, that's good thinking, but typically all radial rains are moulded and do not lend themselves well to shaving down. Back when I ran bias plies, I used to get uncut Avon rains and they worked quite well. Built to be rains, they had extra rubber in the thread band which also served to heat them faster.
